Life in Technicolor

Today while i was headed to work i saw a billboard that was an advertisement for the American Red Cross. It read, "A simple thread can become the fabric of the nation." I was thinking about this quote on so many different levels and came up with a totally insane out look other then its original meaning. For example how people are so bias meaning first impressions really are what count the most.As a whole we as humans act unfair and rather prejudice at times whether we aim to or not. Most of us don't even realize it. To be prejudice doesn't always mean you hold a grudge or have hatred against a certain ethnic group maybe you just don't like someone because of the clothes they wear or music they listen to. Fashion speaks, sometimes even louder then you do. A simple thread can become the fabric of the nation by either sewing us together or stitching us apart at the seams. You decide.
